KW AccessAbility Activities December 8 to 12

With the holiday season upon us, we know a lot of you are busy, but we've till got events happening here at the office. This week we're screening a movie to celebrate International Day of Persons With Disabilities on Wednesday (December 3) and we're making the office look festive on Thursday (December 4).

Next weeks Seated Yoga and a Christmas movie are listed below. The following week, we're making banana bread and celebrating December birthdays along with Christmas. See our website calendar for all the details.

Reminder for those who are attending our Members Christmas Party next week (December 10) and are travelling on MobilityPLUS, please book your rides as early as possible on Wednesday December 3 so that you get the best possible times. Once you have booked your ride, it would be greatly appreciated if you can let the office know what your MobilityPLUS times are.

Chair Yoga (Christmas Edition)

1:00 pm to 2:30 pm
We will be following a YouTube video for Seated Yoga. According to AI - Yoga provides physical benefits, along with mental and emotional benefits such as reduced stress, better mood, and improved cognitive function. 

Thursday December 11

KWA Christmas Movie - Red One

1:00 pm to  3:00 pm
At the KWA office - We'll be watching the 2024 movie Red One - When a villain kidnaps Santa Claus from the North Pole, the North Pole's Head of Security (Dwayne Johnson) must team up with the world's most infamous bounty hunter (Chris Evans) in a globe-trotting, action-packed mission to save Christmas. The movie has Video Description. Event Cost $2.00
