How the golf ball drop works:

The Helicopter Golf Ball Drop will be held at the Annual KW AccessAbility Golf Tournament, June 22, 2026 at 11:45 am at Galt Country Club 750 Coronation Blvd, Cambridge, ON. (weather permitting)

A helicopter carrying the numbered golf balls in buckets will hover over the 18th green of Galt Country Club at approximately 30-feet. As the helicopter hovers over the hole, balls will be dropped onto the green.

After all balls have been dropped, representatives from KW AccessAbility will determine which ball is Closest To The Pin and determine the winning ball number. The hole will be filled to ensure that no ball(s) enter the hole thus removing any confusion as to the winner. You do not need to be present to win.

The winner will be contacted via phone and emailed with instructions for claiming the prize.

The person who purchased the winning ball will receive $10,000,

Winner’s name and photo will be published on KW AccessAbility website and social media outlets.
