KW AccessAbility Activities October 13 to 17

Here are the latest updates and upcoming events at KW AccessAbility.

Please note that "In The Kitchen" originally scheduled for Tuesday October 7 is POSTPONED. As many of the regular members of our cooking group will not be available, the remaining members decided to postpone "In The Kitchen" until more people are able to participate. A new date will be announced soon.

While we may not be going as a group, there are many Oktoberfest events happening this weekend that you may be interested in checking out on your own. Click on the following links for more information about each event.
Keg Tapping at Kitchener City Hall - Friday October 10, 12:00 pm
Willkommen Platz – “Welcome Place” - Friday October 10 to Sunday October 12 - 11:00 am to 7:00 pm in Downtown Kitchener. Music and vendors galore! "Hockey With Hans" and "Sticks and Steins" sports events will be happening there too.
FARMtoberfest - Friday October 10, 9:00 am to 3:00 pm Gaukel Block (Gaukel & Charles) in Downtown Kitchener.
Oktoberfest Thanksgiving Parade on Weber St. - Monday October 13 starting 9:30 am at Weber & Frederick in Kitchener and runs to Bridgeport Road in Waterloo. The parade will also be live streamed for those who want to watch it on their computer (or other internet device) in the comfort of their own home.

Thanksgiving Day - KW AccessAbility Office is CLOSED

Tuesday October 14

1:00 pm to 3:00 pm - Games Day at the KWA Office (and virtually on Zoom)

1:00 pm to 3:00 pm - Wii Bowling Group One
It's an afternoon of Wii Game Console Bowling fun on our Big Screen. As we have a lot of members participating, there are 2 different groups, each bowling every other week. This week is already filled.
