KW AccessAbility Activities October 20 to 24
Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!
Hope your day is (or was) enjoyable. Here are some great special events coming up at the end of the month, followed by a listing of the activities that are happening next week.

Tuesday October 28 - Lunch 'n' Learn - KW AccessAbility New Website - Enjoy a light lunch and hear about improved accessibility, and all the new features from the KWA Staff. 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm. Event Cost $5.00
Friday October 31 - Halloween Chill - Our Friday Night Chill becomes a hauntingly good Halloween Chiller with Spaghetti & Eyeballs and quesadilla's in scary shapes. Wear your favourite costume and have an enjoyable evening of socializing and creepy music. Cost is $5.00.
Wednesday October 29 - ILWR Direct Funding Webinar - A 1 hour online session to discover how Direct Funding helps people with disabilities live more independently. Choice - Control - Flexibility. Direct Funding is Self-Managed Attendant Services in Ontario. 12:00 pm and 2:00 pm. The 12:00 pm virtual session will be on our big screen at the KW AccessAbility office. Monday October 20
1:00 pm to 3:00 pm - November Planning Meeting - (at the KWA office and on Zoom) - We're looking ahead to the events we can do in November. We need your input so that we can put together a great calendar of events. Let us know the days you are available to participate in events. We are always looking for your ideas on things we can do to help make our recreation programme enjoyable and exciting. Click Here to connect on Zoom.
Tuesday October 21
12:30 pm to 3:00 pm - Shopping @ Fairview Park Mall - Looking for new fall wardrobe? Trying to find a costume for the Halloween Party? or just wanting to hang out at the mall with your friends for a while? Today you can with volunteer assistance.
Wednesday October 22
1:00 pm to 3:00 pm - Wii Bowling Group Two - It's an afternoon of Wii Game Console Bowling fun on our Big Screen. As we have a lot of members participating, there are 2 different groups, each bowling every other week. There are still spaces available in Group 2. Let the KWA office know if you would like to join us and try your hand at this popular activity.
Friday October 24
1:00 pm to 3:00 pm - Wii Bowling Open Session - Whether you've never played before and just want to try your hand at this popular activity or if you play regularly in one of our 2 groups and want some extra practice, this is the day for you. Join us for an afternoon of Wii Game Console Bowling fun on our Big Screen.
