KW AccessAbility Activities September 29 to October 4
Don't forget that next Tuesday September 30 from 12:30 to 2:30 we have a Lunch 'n' Learn with a guest from the City of Kitchener. Katherine Ridel will be here to talk about next year's municipal election and to hear your feedback and desires on accessible voting.

Monday September 29
1:00 pm to 3:00 pm - KWA Café Coffee Shop (at the KWA Office) - We turn the office into a Coffee Shop. Come out to socialize with friends and peers here, instead of at an expensive Coffee Shop. We have coffee, tea, hot chocolate and soft drinks available. There will also be a different baked treat each week (like cookies or scones). We've also added things like cheese & crackers and fruit occasionally. Cost is just $2.00. If you can't join us in the office, you can still connect with your friends via Zoom. Click Here to connect on Zoom. Our original virtual Café is still open and on our Big Screen so that office participants can interact with you!
Tuesday September 30
12:30 to 2:30 - Lunch 'n' Learn with a guest from the City of Kitchener - Katherine Ridel will be here to talk about next year's municipal election and to hear your feedback and desires on accessible voting. Enjoy a light lunch and then participate in an informative and interactive discussion on voting in the 2026 Municipal Election in Kitchener. Wednesday October 1
1:00 pm to 3:00 pm - Wii Bowling Group One - It's an afternoon of Wii Game Console Bowling fun on our Big Screen. As we have a lot of members participating, there are 2 different groups, each bowling every other week. This week is already filled.
Saturday October 4
10:00 am to 12:30 pm - Pancake Breakfast at KWA Office - It's the 40th Annual Oktoberfest Pancake Breakfast (that started at Waterloo Town Square) but it's at Bingeman's now. It's crowded, too early and too far to walk, but you love pancakes. We've got you covered this year! We're having pancakes with maple syrup, sausages and coffee at the KW AccessAbility Office (our line-ups are considerably shorter too). Join us to welcome Fall and get in the Oktoberfest spirit. Cost is only $5.00
