KW AccessAbility Activities January 5 to 9

It's almost time to say goodbye to 2025 and welcome a brand new year. Mother Nature sure is giving us some wild weather swings to end the year. See our previous newsletter or website calendar for the New Year's Eve events put on by the Cities of Kitchener and Waterloo.

We hope you can join us for our Planning Meeting on Tuesday January 6 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm either in the office or virtually on Zoom to let us know what you would like to do (and when) and help put an exciting January events calendar together. It's important to have as many members as possible provide their input so that events happen on a schedule that works for most people’s availability.

KW AccessAbility recreation programmes are member driven. The members get together monthly to decide what events to have and when to have them. While Wii Bowling is every Wednesday, other events like the Birthday Party, In The Kitchen (cooking group), Games Day, Afternoon Movie, and Restaurant Visits are talked about, decided on and placed on the upcoming calendar.

The KW AccessAbility office is closed for the holidays. The office will re-open on Monday January 5th at 10 am. While the holiday's provide an enjoyable break, we look forward to returning in January to once again provide you with interesting activities that encourage you to get out and socialize with your peers.
