KW AccessAbility Activities April 27 to May 1

KW AccessAbility is a membership‑based organization for adults with physical disabilities. Our Members—not clients—participate in our Recreation Programme and benefit from our PHIRST Link technology services. Annual membership dues remain only $15, for the year April 1 to March 31. It’s now time to renew your membership for the upcoming year.

This is National Volunteer Week (April 19–25, 2026).  KW AccessAbility is strengthened every day by the dedication of our volunteers. Their enthusiasm lifts our programs, kindness supports our members, and commitment strengthens our entire community.
Whether assisting staff behind the scenes, supporting programmes, or offering encouragement and connection, volunteers make a meaningful difference.
This generosity helps advance our mission and enriches the lives of the adults we support. We are deeply grateful for the compassion, energy, and care that make each volunteer an essential part of the KW AccessAbility family.

Earth Day is Wednesday April 22 marking an annual global movement with a focus on "Our Power, Our Planet" and "Conscious Consumption" to fight climate change through sustainable, reduced consumption. Over 1 billion people are expected to participate in cleanups, tree planting, and advocacy.

We are monitoring the possible service disruption in May at GRT which may affect MobilityPLUS and conventional bus transportation. We will have updates as necessary.
