A tradeshow geared towards providing resources, education, programs, workshops and more for those with every kind of accessibility need.

Celebrate National AccessAbility Week at this FREE 2-Day event at the Ken Seiling Waterloo Regional Museum. The event is funded in part by the Government of Canada through the Social Development Partnerships Program. As well as the Life Made Accessible Committee, comprised of local municipalities and organizations (listed below). This year, the Theme set by The Government of Canada is "Building a Strong, Accessible Canada".

For the second year we’re bringing together another jam-packed schedule of innovators, professionals, creators, panelists and experts to showcase the latest in everything accessibility!

June 1, 2026, from11AM-7PM and June 2 2026, from 9AM to 4PM.

FREE Accessible GRT shuttle running from Fairview Park Mall Station to Ken Seiling and back, both days!

Admission is FREE however pre-registration is required for workshop and additional add-ons.

  • Free Hearing Screening by Hear Canada

  • Motion Mobility Devices & Repair Clinic

  • Specialty Workshops both days: ASL for Beginners, Artistic Workshops, Dance Workshops, and Direct Funding.

  • Educational Panelist Presentations both days

  • Food Trucks

  • ASL Interpreters, CART Services, 3D guided map, and Sighted Guides.

  • Audio/Enhancements for Bluetooth-enabled hearing aids, cochlear implants, or headphones with WaveFront Centre's App: BETTEAR (details below in FAQ)

  • Light/Casual Attendant Care on-site

  • Closing Ceremony Dance Party* at Tapestry Hall in Cambridge, ON, June 2, from 6pm-8pm.

  • and FREE access to the museum's indoor galleries! (Outdoor Pioneer Village is not included in admission)

Come explore the tradeshow, where you can talk to businesses or professional’s one-on-one, learn about programs or support services offered in the community, see products and supports first-hand, and of course bond with the community of amazing people!

This event will include ASL interpreters and attendant services are available on-site. Offered services are light/casual.

*$5 Tickets in Advance for the Closing Ceremony at Tapestry Hall - all proceeds go to A Chance to Dance Charity - all-inclusive organization hosting dance parties for everybody! Tickets will be inclusive of any fees.
