Here's What's Happening July 14 to 17
The weekly Recreation Programme newsletter update is back. Our Summer Programme is underway.
Here is a brief list of the activities happening this week July 7 to 10 (each event is a clickable link to details in our calendar):
Tuesday July 7 - Planning Meeting for Summer Programme 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm
Wednesday July 8 - Wii Bowling - Open Session 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm
Thursday July 9 - Lunch at Fireside Restaurant 12:00 pm to 2:30 pm
Friday July 10 - Friday Night Chill 4:30 pm to 7:30 pm
The events for next week are all out in the community. Hope you can join us!
Tuesday July 14
Wednesday July 15
Trail Walk - Lakeside Park
2:00 pm to 3:30 pm (Times may Change!)
This event is under review and will be discussed further at the July 7th Planning Meeting. Trail Walks are weather dependent.
Thursday July 16
1:00 pm to 3:00 pm
We're visiting Fairview Park Mall particularly because the Dairy Queen location there has a $3.99 Mini Blizzard Special on Thursdays. A great cool treat is a way to beat the summer heat (and so is an air conditioned mall). We will also wander through the mall as a cool indoor trail walk. Meeting place is the Mall Entrance beside Walmart (MobilityPLUS drop off point).
Friday July 17
1:00 pm to 3:30 pm
Enjoy mouth-watering barbequed ribs and chicken, an incredible selection of Ontario craft-brewed beer, ciders and cocktails, plus live entertainment - all in the open atmosphere of Victoria Park. Admission to the KW Ribfest is free, but donations to The Food Bank of Waterloo Region are accepted at the gate. We will be meeting at the clock tower, just off Joseph and Gaukel (79 Joseph St, Kitchener).
