Here's What's Happening July 27 to August 3
Mother Nature wasn't kind to us on July 21st giving us rain and thunderstorms when we wanted to be barbequing in the park. The good news is we've been able to re-schedule the BBQ for Tuesday July 28th (see listing below).
We do not have any events scheduled for July 27th or July 31st.
Our office will be CLOSED on August 3rd for the Civic Holiday.
August activities will be added to the calendar following the July 29th Planning Meeting.
Kitchener Blues Festival is coming up August 7th to 9th in Downtown Kitchener. We would be interested in going as a group either Friday or Saturday. Please check the BluesFest Schedule to see if there are any acts you like and let the KW AccessAbility office know whether you would like to go on Friday August 6th or Saturday August 7th.
Registration is required for all of our events so please contact the KW AccessAbility Office at 519-885-6640 or email our summer staff to let us know which events you will be attending.

We've re-scheduled our members first BBQ of the year at Waterloo Park's Hilltop Picnic Shelter! For just $5.00, they can enjoy their choice of a BBQ hamburger or sausage, along with cold drinks, salads, chips, and dessert. It's a great opportunity to relax, socialize, and enjoy a summer meal with peers. We look forward to seeing you there. Westmount Road Entrance (90 Westmount Road North Waterloo) follow driveway past EMS Building. Wednesday July 29
4:30 pm to 7:30 pm
At the KWA office and on Zoom - Join us in person or on Zoom to help decide which events we’ll offer in August which days & times best fit your schedule. This is also a Wednesday Night Chill (like Friday, just earlier in the week). Have something good to eat, socialize and decide what great things we can be doing in August.
