Here's What's Happening September 28 to October 3
This week we welcome the fall season and apparently the cooler temperatures that go with it.
October brings us a wide variety of celebrations. We've got events planned for Oktoberfest, Thanksgiving and Halloween. Our full October Calendar will be posted on the website by the end of this week.
FYI - On October 1st there is a special workshop for our members who have the Meta Ray Ban glasses and nothing is scheduled for October 2nd, so we didn't forget to list those days below.

Monday September 28
12:00 pm to 3:30 pm
Our In The Kitchen cooking group is a facilitated, hands on event. This month our members will be preparing and enjoying Butter Chicken with a special guest facilitator. Event Cost is $5.00.
Tuesday September 29
KW Habilitation Arcade Takeover
12:00 pm to 2:00 pm
KW Habilitation is hosting an Arcade Takeover at AOK Craft Beer & Arcade 165 King Street West, Kitchener. Enjoy playing all you can for 2 hours for just $5 Admission! Pinball, Pac-Man and lots more. Hang out with friends and enjoy unlimited arcade games. Registration required at KW Hab Marketplace.
KWA Cafe Coffee Shop - National Coffee Day
1:00 pm to 3:00 pm
It's a Special Edition of our Coffee Shop at the KWA Office. Celebrate National Coffee Day and socialize with fellow KWA members. We have coffee and a great baked treat (other beverages available). Seasonal Fruit will also be featured. Cost is just $2.00. If you can't join us in the office, you can still connect with your friends and have your favourite cup of java (via Zoom). Wednesday September 30
1:00 pm to 3:00 pm
It's an afternoon of Wii Game Console Bowling fun on our Big Screen. During the summer, Wii Bowling will be less frequent and the sessions will be open to both regular groups and anyone interested in trying the game.
Saturday October 3
KWA Pancake Brunch
11:00 am to 1:30 pm
The original isn't happening this year but KWA is continuing the tradition of the Oktoberfest Pancake Breakfast, just not as early in the day. We're serving up pancakes with maple syrup, sausages and coffee at the KW AccessAbility Office. Welcome Fall, hear some lively accordion music, cheerful polkas and share some Gemütlichkeit with other KWA members. The event cost is $5.00.
